Clouds have been stubborn to thin out, but some late breaks of sun have been occurring, allowing a late-afternoon warm-up in some areas. Overnight, we'll continue with pockets of cloud cover, filling in for some locations, with patchy late-night fog possible. Temperatures will remain above average, dipping into the upper 50s for lows. Occasional sunshine will boost readings Wednesday afternoon into the low to mid 80s. A stray shower is possible in the afternoon. Thursday will also feature warm conditions with a scattering of a few showers or thunderstorms. A strong spring cold front will arrive by midday Friday, bringing a rush of cooler air and clearer skies into the region for the weekend ahead.
