MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
A subtle change in the weather pattern tonight will help keep the mild, mostly clear conditions in place for several days to come. A minor cold front will swing through early tomorrow morning, reinforcing the current northerly wind regime and allowing more dry, cooler continental air to arrive across the Gulf region. The accompanying high pressure system will keep the pattern stable and consistent through the rest of the work and school week, with temperatures near or below average. Lows tonight will reach the lower 50s with limited cloudiness, and highs will increase into the 70s with generous sunshine. We'll have a few colder mornings ahead with 40s in place, but afternoons will feature mild readings in the 70s. Only a few more clouds may be present Friday, but quiet weather conditions will remain in place. The tropical low in the southern Gulf should stay well to our south thanks to the presence of the high pressure system near us.
