Widespread cloudiness will come along with scattered showers and occasional thunder, some of which will persist into the late-night hours. Areas of overcast will linger into the early morning hours with a slightly lower chance for rumbles of thunder. Lows will be in the neighborhood of 70°. Cloudy conditions will slow the warming trend Wednesday, but with a nearby weakening front and vast amounts of moisture from a deep southerly wind, showers and a few storms will easily form again. Highs will be limited to the mid to upper 80s where overcast skies take hold, and perhaps around 90° for some eastern communities with additional sun. Numerous showers and storms are possible Thursday before high pressure drops the rain chances significantly toward the weekend.
