Isolated strong and severe storms are possible through the middle of the evening, then overnight cloudiness will become scattered, leaving clearer breaks by sunrise. It will remain very warm and humid, with lows in the mid 70s. A little more unsettledness is possible Wednesday, leading to perhaps more numerous showers and storms, with still a chance for some intense storms containing lightning, downpours, and gusty winds. Highs will still manage to reach the mid 90s in some cases. Rain coverage will be between 40% and 60% for the next several days, and the additional rain potential should keep most locations away from 100° for the rest of the week.
