MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The storms associated with last night's front have pushed well to the southeast of the area. Leftover moisture and clouds have mixed in with the late-day mild sunshine. Temperatures are forecast to begin falling to a colder range as the rest of the week continues, with a drier cold front entering the area Wednesday, producing highs in the mid 60s to low 70s after morning lows in the 50s, still above average. However, colder air will seep southward through the end of the week with the support of a broad colder high-pressure system. A quick-moving disturbance will generate more clouds and non-severe rain chances late Friday into Saturday while readings remain chilly. A surge of northerly winds over the weekend can push morning temps below freezing.
