MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Scattered clouds are forming ahead of a modest cold front scraping the landscape of the Deep South.  Afternoon warming plus the frontal system are enough to cause a few showers, generally along and north of the state line, for the nighttime hours.  Clouds will thin out early Wednesday morning with the weak front’s departure, and a good deal of warming sunlight will re-emerge for your midweek.  The cold front won’t have a huge impact on temperatures, with lows tonight around 60° and highs returning to the low and mid 80s by late-afternoon.  Minimal changes to the overall pattern will occur for the remainder of the week, with more warmth building amid afternoon partial cloudiness and an ever-so-isolated shower chance.
