MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Persistent cloud cover and periods of showers will stretch into the late-night hours, but as a push of upper-level energy moves into the Deep South overnight, the slow-moving boundary that has drenched many areas since the weekend will finally be dislodged, leading to clearing by daybreak and higher amounts of sunshine for Thanksgiving Eve. However, temperatures are forecast to remain below average with ongoing northerly winds and a cooler high-pressure system approaching. Lows tonight will fall into the 40s with off-and-on showers, ending around dawn. Highs will only reach the upper 50s to lower 60s because of the new colder air source. We'll stay somewhat chilly through the holiday weekend, but most locations should avoid significant freeze dangers. Milder conditions are set to return by Sunday afternoon.
