MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Ample sunshine is present again late this afternoon, with enough warming to produce scattered clouds in the Suwannee valley, supported by the local bay seabreeze and an east flow over northeastern Florida. Within this zone, a stray shower may form between now and sunset, but overall coverage and strength will be quite minimal. Nearby high pressure will be slow to shift, meaning a sustained weather trend for Wednesday with not many major changes. Lows will fall just to the mid 60s in most cases, and highs again aim for the lower 90s away from the coast. We may also have the convergence of those eastern wind flow to trigger a spot shower. A broad low-pressure system will slide into the western Atlantic, inducing a return to a northeast to north wind by the end of the week; we'll be generally dry with few clouds, continued warmth, and only isolated shower chances coming into the Memorial Day weekend.
