MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Local showers and thunderstorms are still rather scarce, but the numbers will increase in the next 24 hours as a broad low-pressure system makes its way closer to the region. We won’t get in on the full force of the system, but it will be close enough to create more cloudiness overnight with a few spots of showers and thunder for western areas, spreading farther east and providing a better chance for daytime showers and storms to flourish. Lows tonight will be around the lower 70s and highs Wednesday may fall short of 90° if the cloud cover is thick enough. A few storms may be briefly strong with an isolated severe storm possible, too. Numerous showers are possible Thursday, with scattered activity lingering into the weekend.
