MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Areas of high thin clouds blanket parts of the region late today, as we are in the middle of the departing cold front system to the southeast and a ripple of upper-level low pressure over the Deep South. That second low will fling additional clouds across the area, with maybe a stray shower, but nothing heavy or strong. The sky will clear during Wednesday with a northwest breeze and below-average daytime temperatures. Highs will be limited to the lower 70s, after lows in the upper 40s north to mid 50s south. High pressure will drape itself over the region for the remainder of the week, supporting a mostly clear sky, cool mornings, and warmer afternoons. Lower and mid 80s will return by the weekend, with the next chance of rain and thunder arriving Monday.
