MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
High pressure lingers, as does the unseasonable warmth. Though it's likely we've reached the crest of the heat wave this go-around, there will be two more afternoons with highs in the 80s. However, a source of moisture to the east will influence cloud development Wednesday, with only an isolated chance for a shower coming along with the clouds and moisture. Otherwise, periods of partly cloudy sky are likely, along with areas of fog early in the morning. Tonight's lows will reach the lower 60s while highs will reach the middle 80s in most cases. Thursday will be generally dry before the arrival of a cold front Friday morning, which will return temperatures closer to average and allow colder mornings to be felt over the weekend. With still limited amounts of moisture around, the cold front is not expected to produce generous amounts of rain.
