MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The latest in a series of cold fronts is approaching this evening, bringing patches of clouds, isolated showers and rumbles of thunder. The greatest coverage of spotty thunderstorms will remain in south Georgia through the mid-evening hours, with occasional cloudiness invading elsewhere from the northwest. Lighter, isolated showers are possible late tonight in north Florida, ending before sunrise Wednesday for the southeastern Big Bend. The sky will resume its mostly clear status for the middle of the week as temperatures rebound with ample sunlight. Lows will start off near 60° interior south Georgia to the mid 60s southeast Big Bend. Highs will return to the mid 80s area-wide. The dry spell will stretch into the weekend with daily temperature ranges basically unchanged. A dry cold front early Saturday will be capable of knocking daytime readings into the upper 70s and lower 80s.
