MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Freezing temperatures are expected again tonight with a clear sky and periods of calm air. This combination may lead to longer freeze durations, in some cases over 10 hours. Portions of the region run a risk for hard-freeze conditions, particularly east of I-75 and in the Okefenokee region, where temps in the mid 20s are possible for three to five hours. Coastal areas will be around 30° to 33°, upper 20s around the state line, and mid 20s in interior south and southeast Georgia. As winds shift from the east to southeast tomorrow, warming will occur with ongoing sunny times and limited amounts of clouds. Highs will rise back toward 60°. Further temp increases are projected Thursday before a vigorous low-pressure system enters the Southeast, increasing local rain and storm chances to close out the work week.
