MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
A few areas of clouds and additional moisture provided by south winds will hold up the cooling trend overnight, so lows in the 40s are more realistic, and much milder than previous nights. A disturbance south of the Panhandle coast may spread more clouds in some coastal zones, with a slight chance for a brief shower impacting the coastline, but otherwise, the nighttime period will remain uneventful. Sunshine returns Wednesday with patchy clouds and highs again above average, reaching around 70°. Clouds are still set to thicken by Thursday in advance of a building low-pressure system emerging into the western Gulf, providing widespread rain opportunities for the Gulf region Friday. A slim chance for a couple of thunderstorms exists in southernmost areas of the viewing region. Some clearing is expected over the weekend with sharply colder temperatures.
