MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
A few isolated showers in the Apalachicola/Chattahoochee/Flint rivers region will dissipated soon after sunset. Most areas will be unaffected by showers, and the sky will gradually become clear later this evening. Overnight lows will reach the upper 50s to around 60° as areas of fog may develop once again. Upper-level high pressure floats overhead Wednesday, creating additional heating opportunities with ample sunshine and just some leftover clouds. A south wind off the bay may offset the heat, but highs can still reach the mid to upper 80s away from the coast. Thursday, the upper high fades, and a disturbance in the Arklatex region may spawn a band of rain and thunderstorms that can arrive into western parts of our area by late Thursday night through Friday.
