MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
We’ve returned to the pattern that promotes very warm daytime temperatures and limits daily rain development. Upper 90s experienced in some areas today will fall back into the low to mid 70s overnight with winds becoming light and transitioning to a westerly flow. With a more stable environment around, the seabreeze will be harder pressed to producer scattered showers and storms for the next couple of afternoons. What does form is likely to be held near the coast, or shoved off to the east or southeast, and may be briefly strong in an isolated case. Highs Wednesday will reach the middle 90s away from the beaches. Later in the week, scattered storms will be more numerous, but high temps will still be capable of running a few degrees above average. Tropical Storm Bertha will move to the northeast into the northern Atlantic, and no new tropical systems will be tracked over the next 24 to 48 hours.
