MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Evening showers and storms remain focused along the northern Florida and coastal counties, with spots of locally heavy rain and frequent lightning. A lingering stationary front is providing higher opportunities for rain development south of the state line through later tonight, with areas of cloudiness. Lows will be near seasonable levels in the low to mid 70s, and highs turn back into the mid to upper 80s Wednesday as the front diminishes but the moisture remains. An upper disturbance west of the region may heighten the overall rain and thunder coverage Thursday, then by the weekend, there may be more reliance of the typical summertime heat and seabreeze processes to create scattered rain.
