MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Local weather conditions won’t be changed drastically with the presence of tropical storm Arthur off the east-central Florida coast this evening. Winds will transition through tomorrow, from north-northeast to southwest late tomorrow. Because of the ongoing influences of the land breeze and limited moisture increase from Wednesday’s wind shift, rain chances should remain at 30% coverage or less, with isolated stronger storms possible. Lows tonight will be in the middle 70s, and highs return to the hot mid to upper 90s with some interior sections of north Florida and southern Georgia eclipsing 100°. Feels-like readings will be around 100° to 110° with the moisture present. Tropical Storm Arthur may fling a few outer showers toward the I-75 corridor late tomorrow and Thursday, but its only local impacts will be indirect, with winds turning back to the northwest and keeping hot and drier conditions around through Independence Day.
