MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
It's only slightly unsettled, with a mostly cloudy, warm and humid pattern holding tight this evening and tonight. The main forces that drove yesterday's action have departed, but a lingering frontal boundary remains as a focus for occasional, passing light showers from the central Big Bend northeastward into south-central Georgia. Temperatures will stay well above average overnight, with lows only in the upper 60s to around 70°. On-and-off sunshine will be enough Wednesday to get highs back near record territory, generally in the middle 80s. There is no big break in the heat spell through the weekend, even though there are some indications of a cold front that may bring clouds and rain late Saturday, with a slight drop in temp trends afterwards.
