Areas of rain and a few thunderstorms are moving east and southeast from southern Georgia toward the state line amid a very moist and warm, unsettled air mass. Locally heavy rain is occurring and may spread in a scattered variety across the state line counties in north Florida through early this evening. Patchy cloudiness will continue as most rainy areas subside late tonight. Forecast lows are in the mid 70s area-wide. Breaks of sun may warm readings back into the upper 80s and low 90s tomorrow before more showers and storms form by late morning. After a brief period of decrease rain action Friday, an approaching cold front over the weekend will drive up the activity and lessen the amounts of sunshine.
