Storm Team Tuesday evening forecast (07/18/2017)

MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Excess cloudiness has slowed the warming trend again today, but it has also kept active thunderstorms limited in number.  Most showers and storms lingering off the Panhandle Coast will tend to drift eastward, spreading some shower and thunder activity upon the western parts of the region this evening.  A few of these may reach the I-75 corridor, but widespread heavy rain or severe storms are not expected.  Overnight, patches of clouds will remain with lows in the mid 70s.  The upper feature creating the cloud deck will drift to the northeast, placing the region in a more-stable zone, lowering rain and storm development and boosting highs toward the low 90s Wednesday and mid 90s Thursday.  Rain chances don't go to zero in the outlook, but will vary with the positioning of the upper disturbance by the end of the week.
