MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Late-day showers and storms are fewer in number and should remain in an isolated form of coverage. However, those that exist can create downpours and occasional lightning. Late tonight, areas of clear sky will be encountered, with a few stray patches of partial cloudiness. Lows will fall back into the lower 70s. A stalled cold front will stretch north of the region for most of Wednesday, keeping the region in considerably warm and humid conditions, and helping to form scattered thunderstorm action once again before a second front sweeps in from the northwest late Wednesday through early Thursday. We have another shot at 90° highs Wednesday coupled with noticeable and uncomfortable mugginess. Shower and storm chances will continue through early Thursday, subsiding in the afternoon as dry air flows in. Mornings will cool down into the 60s Thursday morning through the weekend, while the afternoons may still reach 90° on Thursday, then falling into the mid 80s Friday and Saturday.
