MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Scattered showers are lining up across the I-75 corridor late today, with variable movement with individual areas of showers. Occasional lightning and thunder are occurring, but most storms will remain well below strong or severe concerns.
High pressure aloft will gain a greater presence in the regional weather pattern Wednesday and through the rest of the week; as it builds, rain development and coverage will be reduced. Afternoon temperatures will warm up in comparison to the previous few days. Lows tonight will remain above average between 71° and 75° with patchy fog possible, and highs rebound to the low and mid 90s tomorrow with more sunshine. Spotty rain will be in the outlook before the weekend, as a cold front starts to approach. Tropical moisture over the Bahamas will be monitored for organization, along with a distant east Atlantic tropical wave.
