MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Clouds have formed with the daytime heating, but we’re having a tough time getting showers or storms to develop. An isolated area of rain is possible until just after sunset, then any spots of cloudiness will dissipate late. Lows will drop into the lower 60s inland, upper 60s at the shore. We start to witness the presence of a strengthening ridge of high pressure over the northern Gulf inching closer to the area, preventing shower development and boosting afternoon temperatures. Wednesday, highs will reach the lower 90s, but more middle 90s are likely later this week with abundant sun. Over the weekend, the high loses some strength, which should allow a couple of isolated showers or storms to form starting Saturday afternoon.
