MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The current high pressure system providing clear sky and below-average temperatures is currently moving into the western Atlantic. Its new positioning will support a quick warming trend that will result in overnight temperatures falling into the cool low 40s, but daytime readings Wednesday soaring toward 80° in interior locations. A southerly wind will allow coastal zones to peak in the 70s. Despite a slight uptick in the moisture levels, a mostly sunny sky is expected. After Wednesday, clouds will start to overtake the sky, and occasional rain and thunderstorm impacts begin by Thursday evening. A front will approach, but not quite clear out of the area, keeping higher rain potential in the picture off and on through the Easter weekend. Temperatures are projected to remain on the seasonably mild side.
