MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Isolated showers sprouted up in the late emergence of the sunshine that followed the persistent morning fog and clouds. Any showers will be brief in duration and diminishing by evening, and mainly confined to north Florida counties. The moisture-laden atmosphere with light to calm conditions overnight will yield more areas of fog before and after sunrise, with limited visibilities in the morning commute. The fog will slowly lift after lows reach the low and mid 60s, then, if enough sunshine comes through, we'll get back into the mid and upper 70s by afternoon. A front across southern Georgia won't clear through the region until a second front arrives Thursday, carrying clouds and showers, and a surge of colder air that lasts Friday through New Year's Eve. Clouds thicken ahead of another system Sunday with rain chances afterwards.
