MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
While most cloud cover has cleared the region, it still lurks just off to the south and east, as yesterday's cold front has stalled over north-central Florida. The wind flow will shift to the southeast and south overnight, prompting the front to move back toward the region as a warm front. Overnight will start mostly clear but become foggier and cloudier by sunrise with lows being set soon after midnight in the low and mid 50s, then rising. Highs will top out in the mid and upper 70s as clouds further thicken and a few showers develop. Unsettled weather is forecast for Thursday as a potent cold front enters from the west, setting off more rain and occasional thunderstorms. An isolated stronger storm is possible, but overall severe weather chances are very low. The front will carry a true blast of colder air, creating the chance for widespread frost or a light freeze for inland areas over the weekend. It will be sunny during the day, but blustery Friday and chilly Saturday.
