MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Regional high pressure continued to limit our rain opportunities. Only few stray sprinkles are possible through sunset across the Suwannee Valley and some stateline counties. Otherwise, the partly cloudy sky will gradually clear, as lows overnight fall toward 60°. A small area of stronger upper ridging can further reduce the already isolated shower chance for Wednesday, which should result in periods of full sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 80s; coastal zones will be slightly cooler. Rain coverage will stay less than 20% through Friday. Greater rain chances come Sunday as a cold front nears. A couple of thunderstorms are likely, especially in Georgia, before a small cool-down follows.
