MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
There will be limited, subtle changes in the weather features over the next day or two, leading into a warmer spell to close out the week. The current calming high-pressure system remains in place over the Southeast tonight, promoting clearness and cooling temperatures overnight. We'll wake up to seasonable chill again, with lows in the low to mid 40s. Sunshine in the afternoon may blend with few clouds, but it won't be enough to prevent another rapid warm-up back into the low and mid 70s. A few stray clouds are possible late tomorrow with an upper disturbance in the Tennessee Valley, but local impacts will be minimal. The high moves east by Friday and places our region in a moister southerly flow; that, plus upper high pressure this weekend, will cause a return of very warm conditions with a partly cloudy sky.
