Storm Team Tuesday evening forecast (07/29/2014)

MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

This morning’s cold front has moved south of the region, allowing the dry air from the north to surge over us.  That has helped to provide a lot more sunshine with only a few patches of clouds, and rain chances have been eliminated as a result.  The dry air has warmed up considerably, but much of that heat will escape after sunset, and forecast lows are placed in the middle 60s, close to record lows for some areas.  Warming resumes Wednesday with mostly sunny conditions and highs again reaching the low to mid 90s.  Rain chances are put off until Thursday at the earliest, but become more widespread over the weekend with returning moisture flow and some upper-level unsettledness over the Deep South.  We are tracking a tropical disturbance in open Atlantic waters that may very likely become the season’s next tropical depression within a day or two.
