Storm Team Tuesday evening forecast (06/07/2016)

Posted

MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

The departure of the former Tropical Storm Colin is helping to draw in a drier air source into the region, which will aid in drying after the soaking from yesterday.  It will also allow lows to drop closer to average, in the upper to mid 60s, especially inland.  The sky will be generally clear.  A good deal of sunshine will propel highs well into the 90s Wednesday afternoon, with not much of an afternoon rain chance.  A drier trend is expected to last a few days, with only minimal chances for showers in southern areas with a flow of upper air across the central and northern Gulf.  An upper high in the long-range forecast should be capable of supporting above-average temperatures into the weekend, still with a lack of general thunderstorm activity.
