MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Extra cloudiness has dimmed the sunshine and stalled the warming trend. However, shower activity has been limited to areas west of the Apalachicola River and along the Flint. No substantial rain totals are expected this evening. In fact, the shield of cloud cover will continue to stream northeastward as the upper flow influencing its presence shifts to the east and southeast. This will lead to a partial clearing trend overnight, leading to additional sunshine Wednesday with some scattered clouds remaining. Lows tonight will reach the mid 60s, and highs will range from the mid 80s coast to low 90s inland and in the Suwannee River. A slow-moving cold front in the southern Plains will enter the Southeast later this week, triggering a better chance for scattered showers and storms before the weekend.
