Storm Team Tuesday evening forecast (03/10/2015)

Posted

MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Ample moisture from the southerly wind flow combined with a warm atmosphere has sparked scattered cloud cover, but upper-level high pressure off to the east is still limiting the chances for showers to form this evening.  A passing shower can't be ruled out through early tomorrow morning, but most locations will miss out on any major rain action.  Variable cloudiness is forecast for tonight with mild lows in the 60° range.  Breaks of sun will combine with the south and southeast wind to boost highs into the low to mid 80s, but a broad low to the west of the region will influence occasional shower and isolated thunder development by afternoon.  Rain chances and coverage will gradually increase by late in the week as the western low creeps closer.  Temperatures will remain a bit above average.
