MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
A rather modest cold front will enter the region overnight, carrying cloudiness and periodic shower and storm activity from northwest to southeast through the area between midnight and sunrise. The passage of rain should be brief, with only minor rain accumulations. Isolated thunderstorms are possible along the Flint River area of southwest Georgia, with minimal chance for stronger storms in the Georgia interior. Sunshine returns in full force Wednesday afternoon with breezy northwest winds and a slight hint of cooling. After lows in the 50s to near 60°, highs will return to around 70° in north Florida and upper 60s north of the state line. Another cold front arrives toward the end of the week, bringing a similar pattern of limited rain coverage early Friday and seasonable temperature ranges into the weekend.
