Storm Team Tuesday evening forecast (05/06/2014)

Posted

MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Our region remains under the heavy influence of high pressure situated across the Gulf region, and as long as it remains around, the local weather will stay mainly clear with near-average temperatures in the mornings and afternoon readings climbing to around 90°.  Light to calm conditions overnight may result in more patchy, locally dense fog, as lows reach the upper 50s and lower 60s.  We’ll stick with more sunshine during the day and just throw in a couple of clouds later in the day.  The pattern is stable through the end of the week.  Beyond that, clouds will build and scattered showers and storms will enter the forecast as a disturbance approaches from the northwest, bumping the high off into the Atlantic.  No significant cool spell is in the foreseeable future.
