MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Spots of showers and a few thunderstorms are developing in the eastern Big Bend and portions of south Georgia. In the meantime, a larger cluster of storms is set to impact middle and interior south Georgia with occasionally gusty, potentially damaging, winds and some instances of hail. A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Tift County until 8:00 p.m. Some leftover storms may sink into south Georgia late, but in a general weakening phase. There's a chance for isolated storms early in the morning, then areas of clouds and lows near 60. Scattered showers and storms are possible again Wednesday, with a limited chance for isolated severe storms, and highs in the low to mid 80s. We'll get a reprieve from these scattered storms toward the end of the week with ongoing warming, then a cold front arrives Saturday with a few showers leading into a cooler Easter Sunday.
