MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The upper-level high will be overhead through Wednesday, lending more support to warmer-than-average, and perhaps record-tying, afternoon temperatures. However, with the clear and calm nature of the air at night, the heat will be easily released, allowing for noticeable cooling in the early morning. Lows tonight will fall into the low 60s for most inland areas, then highs rise quickly into the mid and upper 80s. Moisture levels remain limited and the rain chances Wednesday is zero. Thursday, an upper low starts to swing into the Southeast; it will carry a cold front into the local area Friday morning, breaking the heat spell and pushing temperatures much lower for the end of the week. Moisture is not expected to spike, so rain opportunities remain very low, even with the frontal approach. Sunshine with highs in the 70s are expected this weekend.
