MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Extended dryness is still expected in our future. Later this evening, some patches of clouds will move overhead from the northwest, but with an overall lack of moisture, rain is not expected. The shield of clouds will impact the rate of cooling overnight; area lows will reach the upper 40s but likely remain above this morning's values. The clouds scoot out by sunrise, and nearly full sunshine resumes. Highs Wednesday will reach the mid to upper 80s as a progressive area of mid-level high pressure slides into the Southeast for the remainder of the week. This will promote warm afternoons with highs near 80s Thursday and Friday, while allowing morning temps to fall into the cool upper 40s to around 50°. Expectations for a much colder weekend remain intact.
