Storm Team Tuesday evening forecast (12/20/2016)

Posted

MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Stubborn cloudiness will linger through this evening, keeping the cool temperatures fairly stable in the 50s.  As drier air arrives, the cloud cover will begin to erode starting in the morning, leading to decreased cloud cover and additional sunshine for most areas by Wednesday afternoon.  As a result, a rebound in daytime readings is anticipated, with highs reaching the mid 60s for most areas.  A weak front will skim the region Thursday, with a few more clouds and only an isolated shower.  Temps will resemble seasonable levels until the holiday weekend, when a southern high-pressure ridge aloft will build nearby and eject any colder air to the north.  This will produce lows in the 50s and highs possibly approaching 80° in some cases.
