MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- A warm-up is in progress as the high pressure system that dominated the cold pattern this past weekend moves to the southeast. This will help pull winds out of the south for Wednesday. Highs forecast to be near 80 degrees. Lows will be in the 50s tonight. For Thursday, we'll see the approach of another cold front and rain coverage comes back into the picture. Widely scattered showers with the occasional thunderstorm are possible (30% coverage). The cloudiness caused by the front will keep lows a bit warmer in the upper 50s and highs still near 80. The front moves through and lowers our highs to the mid-upper 60s through the weekend with lows dipping into the upper 30s/lower 40s for our weekend. It will be cold but nowhere near as cold as last week with highs actually being in the 60s. Temps begin to moderate as we near Veteran's Day with lows around 40 degrees and highs back up to near mid-70s.
