MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- General cloudiness and rainfall will remain prominent through the week as a front just northwest of the region is not moving much over the next few days. Because we are located south of the front, winds from the Gulf will keep us in this regime.
Morning lows into Wednesday will struggle to fall below the upper 60s/ lower 70s. Wednesday afternoon highs will range in the mid to upper 70s with a few 80 degree readings possible, though not as likely if the cloud cover continues to stick around. Rain coverage isn't large but possible Wednesday (30%) and it will grow into Friday.
The New Year will ring in a rainy start, but the front will slowly move past us, and the resulting northerly wind will help to cool us down. As the skies clear into next week, cooler lows (upper 30s to lower 40s) will return.
