MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The winds continue to howl around a strong low-pressure system in the Ohio Valley, creating blustery conditions locally. Temperatures will still manage to fall to around freezing overnight with only a slight decrease in wind speeds. The sky will be clear, and the wind chill "feels-like" temperatures will plunge into the 20s by sunrise. Actual air temps will level off in the upper 20s and lower 30s, which is cold enough for a Freeze Warning for most inland counties. High pressure will move into the northern Gulf region by late tomorrow, sustaining a clear sky and helping winds to relax a bit. Highs will still fall below average, in the low to mid 50s. The high will produce one more subfreezing night before readings jump back into the 60s to around 70° by Friday afternoon. A minor cold front may trigger a spot shower by then, with sunshine and coolness in store for the weekend.
