MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

The cold front approaching Wednesday morning will enable a thickening of the cloud cover overnight, which should help hold temperatures higher than average.  Lows will reach around 60°, but the onset of showers and rain may be delayed until the dawn time frame for some.  Overnight showers are most possible in the tri-state region, where an isolated thunderstorm may occur.  Otherwise, scattered lighter rain and persistent clouds will be present through most of Wednesday, especially south of the state line.  Highs will range from the mid 70s to around 80°.  A push of drier air will cause slightly cooler mornings for the rest of the week, and mild afternoons with sunshine and some clouds. Another swift-moving front may trigger scattered showers and storms Friday, and a broader punch of rain is possible with a Sunday cold front.
