MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
A nearly classic late-afternoon scattered thunderstorm pattern is underway, with the Gulf seabreeze forming spots of downpours and lightning in the central and western Big Bend, and a little more enhancement with rainy areas in the Suwannee Valley aided by the Atlantic onshore flow. A few more areas of rain and thunder will form through the early evening as the original storminess winds down. Pockets of cloud cover will be leftover tonight, with warm and muggy lows in the mid and low 70s. A front will enter from the north, triggering showers and storms in an easier fashion by midday Wednesday. Isolated stronger storms are possible, especially if sunshine persists longer into the day. However, considerable cloudiness will be present by late-morning, which may limit highs to near 90° in western zones, but mid 90s are still within reach in the Suwannee valley. A steady moisture flow into Thursday may keep numerous showers and storms in the picture before a slight decrease in the action as the week concludes.
