MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
A good deal of cloudiness lingered in many areas near and south of the state line, formed by a more-massive cluster of rain and storms in the eastern Gulf. As that action moves east, much of the cloud cover will go with it, so a general clearing trend is foresee for the nighttime ahead. With reduced moisture in the region, temperatures will have a better opportunity to fall into the 50s for most locations that experience a clearer sky overnight. Readings will increase to the low to mid 80s Wednesday afternoon; the extra warmth, along with existing moisture and the departing high-pressure system, may be capable of triggering an isolated shower or thunderstorm in some parts of the southeast Big Bend. A broader low will enter the Deep South Thursday carrying severe-weather chances into some western parts of the region late tomorrow, with widespread rain and embedded storms possible Friday. A breakdown in the rain action should occur during the morning and afternoon Saturday.
