One more day of the unsettled weather for today with widespread showers and thunderstorms. Some of the thunderstorms could be strong..the biggest concern will gusty winds and locally heavy rain. Eastern parts of the viewing area will see the greatest coverage of storms for today.
Temperatures will be warming into the lower 90s today but with very high humidity it will feel a little bit uncomfortable outside.
Storms will last throughout the day and will start to fizzle out once the sun sets. Lows tonight will be seasonable in the lower to mid 70s.
Tonight drier air starts to move in from the northwest just in time for the weekend. This drier air will bring rain chances down to 30% and temperatures up to the mid to possibly the upper 90s. Heat indices will be in the triple digits so stay hydrated!
