TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) -- The area of low pressure that has been causing heavy rainfall will continue to push west today, so the heaviest rainfall rates will remain in the western parts of the Big bend and the remainder of the viewing area will see rain coverage at 50%. More sunshine is expected today so highs will warm up to the lower 90s.

For the weekend sea breeze showers will create rain coverage between 30%-40%. Partly cloudy skies will allow temperatures to climb into the mid and upper 90s. Upper level high pressure will keep conditions seasonable for next work week, with a chance for sea breeze induced storms and slightly above average temperatures in the mid 90s.
