TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Quiet and cool this morning with temps dipping into the upper 30s as a weak area of high pressure has set up allowing for the wintry start to Thursday. By this afternoon, winds turn from the Gulf and we'll rebound to the low 70s. After 10pm, showers and a few isolated non-severe storms will advance into the region ahead of another minor cold front. Lows dip to near 50°. By the time you're starting off your Friday, the rain will be out of here and we'll have mostly sunny skies and temps nearing 70°. Expect wide temperature spreads for the weekend with low to mid 40s in the morning and low to mid 70s in the afternoon. Onshore breezes will allow temps to warm heading into next week with mid and upper 70s on Monday and low 80s by next midweek.
