MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- ATTENTION: Wind Advisory in effect for eastern counties of viewing area.
A slight chance of a shower is possible as a cold front sweeps through our area from the north this morning.
During the morning commute and onward, winds will shift, turning from the northwest. This will help to cool us off considerably. Daytime highs today will struggle to get out of the 60s.
As the sun sets, make sure you have a sweater, because temperatures will sharply drop. Morning lows on Friday will likely fall to the mid and upper 30s!
Here is your Marine Forecast for today:
Tide Times are also available here:
Friday afternoon will be mild, with highs in the mid 60s. Skies will stay sunny.
Saturday through Sunday will feature a quick warming trend. To start, Saturday morning iwll be chilly, with lows in the lower 40s. Saturday afternoon will see a significant return of south winds as high pressure stays east of us. This will allow highs to be in the mid 70s.
Sunday and Monday will have lows near 50° and highs in the mid to upper 70s. Clouds will steadily build back up in this period.
Tuesday and beyond features some uncertainty as models have a developing low pressure system over Texas moving toward us. The timing on some differs significantly, so rain coverage looks minimal (<20%) for now. Highs will stay in the mid to upper 70s.
