TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - A cool start on your Thursday morning with temps dipping into the low 40s by sunrise. You may see a layer of dew on your car and will have to give your windshield wipers a brief work out before heading on your morning commute, but other than that, make sure you bring your light jacket to work this morning. Won't need it by the afternoon with plenty of sunshine and flow coming off the Gulf, temps will warm into the upper 70s. Another cool night Thursday into Friday as a dominant high pressure system is centered over the Southeast allows for clear skies and calm winds once again: a recipe for cool overnight temps. Expect Friday morning to start in the mid to upper 40s. By the end of the workday Friday, temps will be comfy in the low 80s. Heading to the FSU Block Party? Much of the same can be expected: temps in the low 80s, maybe feeling a tad warmer under direct sun on the concrete. It looks like it'll be a gorgeous start to the weekend! By Monday we finally look like we usher in enough moisture to spark some showers and storms. More details on your next frontal system to come in future forecasts...
